In BLS data for workers displaced during 2023–2025 from jobs held at least three years, 20.9% of those whose former occupation was management, business, and financial operations were unemployed in January 2026.
What This Means
Established managerial and financial experience does not make a displaced worker automatically easy to place. Roughly one in five of this displaced occupational group was still unemployed at the survey date.
