BLS reported a 29.6% unemployment rate in January 2026 among long-tenured displaced workers whose former occupation was office and administrative support.
What This Means
Losing an established office or administrative job can produce a serious reentry problem. Nearly three in ten displaced workers in this occupational group were unemployed at the survey date.
