The Fact

BLS counted 3.3 million long-tenured workers displaced during 2023–2025, up by 746,000 from the prior 2021–2023 survey period.

What This Means

The number of workers losing jobs after at least three years with an employer increased materially between the two most recent BLS displacement survey windows.
