The Fact

Biblical and Qur’anic ethics both make justice a duty rather than a tribal preference. The Bible repeatedly commands impartial justice and defense of the vulnerable. Qur’an 4:135 explicitly commands believers to stand for justice even when testimony goes against themselves, parents, or close relatives.

What This Means

The source-level ethic is not “my group is right.” Both traditions contain rules designed to restrain favoritism toward one’s own side.
